Traditionally jazz music has inspired creativity and helped children grow as people when they have studied it, opening up students to experimenting with different musical forms of their own.

This is very important since it instills the ability of creating new things independently. While basic skills like writing, maths and reading are important in the education of a child, creativity is also a invaluable asset for their success – children should be able to consider creativity and get inspiration from it. Teachers have been pairing journal writing with jazz music to inspire kids to think. This has enabled children to express themselves and achieve higher academic levels.
